SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES

The first Sunday of the Karnival was a beautiful sunny day and saw a competition which has been an enduring favourite throughout Asia since the days of ancient China.

The aim of the game is to get your kite string wrapped around another's kite string and cut it off and the winner goes into the next round. Link

Rugby Union Tournament

There will be a Rugby Union Tournament involving 12 to 16 international teams going on for 2 days from the 6 to 7 October. Although this will be held at the Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Nusa Dua, many of the participants are coming in commemoration of the bombing incident and have expressed a wish for their tournament to be part of our celebrations.

Aussie Rules Tournament

There will also be an Australian rules tournament involving several international teams to be held in Kuta on October 11.

Music

The Hard Rock Hotel and other venues will be hosting several international acts during the Karnival month. Link
